Are you good at singing? is it one of your talents?

My boyfriend of 3 years got upset because of something I said. He proceeded to call me a fat “c”, fat b$&ch, stupid b$&ch… among other things.

We were having a discussion about electric cars and gas prices. I said that we need to rely less on petroleum and I thought the government should increase the tax credit so that electric cars would be more affordable for the regular person.

He said why should I have yo pay for someone else yo have an electric car?

I responded “My taxes go towards a lot of wars that I don’t support so I think this should be considered the same. There are many things that I pay for that I don’t support. The good this will create outweighs the people who don’t want clean cars.”

He served our country as a Marine and he proceeded to tell me that I was an ungrateful “C” and all the other insults. I listened quietly during his rant. He kept hanging up on me and then calling me back to insult me some more. I was very calm and I remember only saying “tell me more of how you feel about me.” I didn’t insult him back because honestly I don’t insult people I love, it’s not my personality. Then on his last call I was silent and when he was done he said “Do you have something you want to say to me” or “what do you have to say” something like that I was really upset but I didn’t react at all. My voice was steady and the only thing I said was - this is it for us. Then he started yelling again and insulting me some more.

Wondering what everyone thinks about this. Was this my fault? Was his reaction warranted? I honestly don’t think I could ever “be” with him after he called me a fat “C”, and honestly I’m more offended he kept calling me fat than the C word, but I keep thinking who would say these things to a person they love? I wouldn’t.

I'm a black woman my boyfriend is white. As a woman I've watched his gaze and he never looks at woman that look like me. He usually looks at blonde hair blue eyes white girls or if he does stare at a black girl she's lighter and thinner I'm neither of these girls. It's almost like a lighter or whiter skin tone captures his eyes I'm dark and bigger. "The girls in your IG and FB never look like me" it makes me feel bad like I'm not good enough or I'm not pretty enough. Should I feel insecure? He compliments me tells me I'm pretty and got but I don't know... Please explain why he told me that if we weren't together he'd hurt on me but I don't believe it I laughed and he did too

It’s a class each week in a big glass dome shaped place full of plants. I’m really enjoying it but it doesn’t seem like a lot of people are that into the idea of it or know the benefits.
