First regarding the fridge micro wave. Your answer is in the lower picture. That fridge is tucked in tight. As long as it can breath and give off the waste heat you are fine. Just matters how the door opens on either the fridge or Mwave. Fridge doors often can be flipped to the other side.
White is ok but know that it shows every flaw and stain. use good paint and do a good job so you can clean it without the paint coming off. Prep is essential.
Contact paper might not be your best bet for the counter top.
Our sink in our bathroom is painted with some kind of special paint. You might be able to find that. Get a very large cutting board that fits the top of the cabinets. A Teflon one might be cheaper and easy to wash.
I am currently doing pretty much what you are doing here. I have a small kitchenette in my bed room with a 12/120 v chest freezer/fridge by Iceco.

Ug this comment was still sitting here to be sent. I thought I sent it days ago
If you are considering other options I would add a shelf above useing angle brackets secured to the studs in the wall. Then put the microwave on top of that. have cup holders hanging below. This would allow me to extend the counter top over the fridge with a short support touching its top for support and have more work space. Might even make it folding
One final comment. I am a tiny liver. I Got flooded a few years ago and decided to start living simple. Realizing I don't need that massive bulk I live small. I soon plan to move into a box truck. Converting it to a tiny mobile home.
So take a look at some of those on you tube. Look for Tiny living or Van life.
Black, cause everything else is already black.
And how small is your apartment? Do you live in NYC or San Francisco or something and you can only afford a closet? Or is this a second kitchen or just for your bedroom or something? If that's your main kitchen, it's super small.
Where I live studios are built small $1000 to $1300. Some studios are tiny and have a kitchen stove and fridge & no closet. My studio has walk in closet and big bathroom but no kitchen it’s like a bachelors unit. my studio is medium sized. But I plan put another kitchen counter to the wall soon so it’s like an L shaped kitchen. But yes that corner is the kitchen. I have living room then dinning area too. No bedroom my sofa turns into a bed at night
Damn! here do you live, San Francisco? If you don't mind living in a piece of sh*t city like Philadelphia, you can get a luxury place for $1300 a month. My apartment was a four bedroom, two-bathroom place near downtown for $1400 a month total, but I had roommates, so I paid $350 a month to live there.

There's a lot cheaper places to live; just sayin'.
This is my current place in South Korea.
You should keep it white because white screams kitchen vibes to me. Although I like black more than white, white just works in the kitchen.

The arrangement shown in the middle picture (the black fridge to the left of the black cabinet in the corner) looks nice. I wouldn't paint anything. You definitely don't want to paint the countertop itself... I can't tell if it's granite, quartz or marble, but it looks great just the way it is.
If the fridge door has a left-side hinge (which is most common), it should stay to the right of the cabinet. Don't put it in the corner, you'll have problem getting things in and out of it.
Damn I am sorry that you have such a small kitchen... Are you okay?
White is better ofcourse.
What the heck is wrong with you and your kitchen? Stop bugging people with same question again and again.
White! You will HATE black. It is so hard to see when black counter tops are dirty, also it makes the kitchen too dark for my taste.
Keep everything exactly as it is. Black shows every spec of dust.
Paint it black is a bad ass song. nobody cool ever painted anything white.
Black will make it stand out tho
Fine as it is. Just give it a shine finish
Paint it white. It looks cleaner.
Probably black, shows less dirt
White it the best color for a countertop
