🎶 here we go round the mulberry bush 🎶 is a old British song for little children. But have you ever seen a mulberry Bush (yes I know they're actually trees) and did you go around it.

Yes, I do it all the time. I grow, Persian mulberries, Pakistani mulberries, White Pakistani mulberries, Phil's White Mulberries and Shangri La mulberries. My favorite are the Pakistanis, as they taste good even before they are fully ripe. The Persians are the messiest. They don't separate from the tree easily and they stain, but they are delicious. To get rid of the stain, just rub an unripe mulberry on the stain, and it will disappear. Unfortunately, they tend to ripen at the same time, so finding an unripe one is challenging. I'm not crazy about white mulberries (though they don't stain), as they just taste like sugar with no flavor. You can easily root a cutting or graft it onto another tree. I've turned a fruitless mulberry tree into a Pakistani mulberry tree. Pakistani mulberry

Never grow mulberries if you don't have acreage, as the roots can become very invasive and destroy your septic system.

There are quite a lot mulberry trees here, you might be going out and suddenly come across a mulberry tree on the street.

I love mulberry!!! We had a mulberry tree in my village where I spend summers with my grandparents. Always reminds me of my childhood.

I have three of them in the garden. I walk round them so that I can harvest the berries (mostly, for making marmalade from it). But I'd rather hum a Hendrix tune than singing children's songs :D

Yes I have seen many. WE lived on Mulberry lane. I mowed around it so does that count? And I am always singing so most likely I was at least once when I went mowing around it.
I did chop the weeds all so almost sounds like "chased the weazle" if we want to go for that rhyme too.

When I was young, a bunch of us neighborhood kids danced around a mulberry bush (or maybe it was an Elm tree) on Mulberry Street in Western New York USA. The song may have originated in the UK but it's a common American children's song.

They are quite common in the United States. In my hometown, we had a wealthy neighborhood named Mulberry. Right across from it was a street that was named after a slave who ran away through the woods after he killed his master.
