Yes. Owning my own flower shop has been one of my dreams since I was a little kid... when I was little I asked my dad why he was buying flowers for mom when the flowers were going to die? I don't remember his exact answer then but I remember thinking I'd rather have the money. I love flowers but I hate that to buy them we kill them. I've always wanted to open a plant nursery and a flower shop in one. To try to sell the idea you don't have to give flowers that are going to die... Not even a plant can hold onto the flower forever but I'd like people to pay more attention to why we can appreciate the beauty of flowers.

I am working towards it! Thank you. The last flowers I bought from another flower shop were dahlias. The last flowers I sold were roses :)

I've gone to flower shops many times.
Sometimes just to buy a rose for a girlfriend.
Sometimes to buy an arrangement for a special day like anniversary or birthday.
I've gone into shops to order large arrangements for funerals, too.

Shops are for special flowers like long stemmed roses, tulips, lilies, and for beautiful arrangements.

I love the flower shop and I always come out with minimum 3 plants I usually have no clue what is & whatever catches my eyes. Last time I got a aloe (I always manage to kill them), African cactus and 3 unknown

We talk about color, for which person and why.

The rest I leave the experts in the store. That is what I pay for. Service. I want to pay for.

Many times. One time, years ago when I was young and single, my sister set up a blind date. At my niece's suggestion, I went to the florist and bought a bouquet of daisies. Turns out that was my bind date's favorite flower. Let's just say it was a very nice date.
