Police say 5 fetuses found in a DC home allegedly owned by an anti-abortion activist

Police say they found five fetuses in a home in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, days after the indictment of several anti-abortion activists -- including a woman believed to live in the home where the fetuses were discovered -- on charges of blocking access to a reproductive health clinic in 2020.

Officers were called to the home in the Capitol Hill area "to investigate a tip regarding potential bio-hazard material," the Metro Police Department said in a statement. When they entered the home, they discovered five fetuses, police said.

DC Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the fetuses, but said the investigation is ongoing.

WUSA was on the scene and reported that the home was occupied by Lauren Handy, an anti-abortion activist.

The WUSA crew saw police removing evidence in red biohazard bags and coolers. WUSA reported that Handy declined to speak to them on-camera, but told them she expected the raid to happen "sooner or later." She wouldn't tell WUSA what was in the coolers that were removed from the home, but said, "people would freak out when they heard."

Police said the fetuses were collected by the DC medical examiner's office.

He never gets me flowers and we have been together for 1 year now. I wish he would surprise me with a bouquet just because he loves me. He knows I love flowers, yet he never gets me any. I don’t feel loved. Do you think it’s a bad idea to straight out ask for flowers? There's a guy I know online, and I have a weird relationship with him, where I used to be his 'fan', but then we kinda became friends. And now I don't know how to act with him, particularly in this current situation

I'm An art student, currently doing a project all about drawing people, I want to use this guy's photos as one of my references, and I'm not sure if I should ask him first. If he was just a friend I knew personally I'd feel weird not asking him first, but if I was just a fan and he was just some celeb, it would feel weird and unecessary to ask permission

I'll Give a brief summary of our relationship to help out things into context. I've Been following him since 2020, and he followed me back and began talking to me as a friend 5 months ago. We had plans to meet up, him visiting me and then me him, but got cancelled. (He said he still wants last time I asked to but nothing solid anymore) He hasn't talked to me as much since he got in a relationship in January, but still does a little and still follows me.

So yeah, after all that I don't know how familiar I should be acting with him?

Basically, should I ask first, or just go ahead and draw him like I would any other celeb?

Self love is importance, just as is self care. Can you stand looking at yourself in the mirror when it comes down to being alone and emotional?

I'm going to start by saying that either parent can be any kind of parent. From stay at home to having absolutely nothing to do with their child (ren).

Everyone's circumstances are INCREDIBLY different & unique. I'm on leave taking care of my newborn & have mixed feelings about leaving him to go back to work, but I still have time before I have to go back. My boyfriend is very involved when he's home, although even then I still take on the brunt of the child rearing because he's still nervous & not sure of himself with our baby. His friend & his baby momma on the other hand... His friend doesn't have any involvement with the child, he claims to only have gotten his baby momma pregnant because "if it wasn't this b*tech, it would've someone else I spread my seed to," & the mom still retains her parental rights, even though she gave up her child to her mother (child's grandmother) & should absolutely sign away her parental rights to grandma so that the child can be enrolled in school, since mom refuses to do anything for her child. Won't even let the child call her "mom". So, where do you fall on the spectrum?

This is different from actually saving money, spending it wisely for important things and doing what you can afford but still being generous with those you care.

Example of cheapskates:
- Mark claims to be broke and saving money but he just bought an expensive golden necklace and shoes for HIMSELF instead of helping his mother with her tooth extraction bill or buying his child new clothes.
- Martha is so cheap that she'll use a discount coupon every single time and doesn't even gives you anything for your own b-day. However, like Mark... she spends on fancy things for HERSELF ONLY and never shares with anyone.

Do you think a cheapskate (man or woman) is a negative trait in a person?

But fortunately mine hasn't since I've been at this apartment since what " 2017". The rent is cheaper than most places so my rent has gone up but not like it would if I were to move. So im saving a lot of money. Yet I do see some nice luxury apartments I'd like to get my hands on.
