I was married for 3 years, and never got rude remarks about not having children. We had two dogs, and that was plenty of responsibility, lol.
One thing I think is it is going to vary a LOT depending on culture. There are some more traditional cultures where it is almost obligatory to have children, and you are seen as shirking your duty if you don't start breeding and producing grandchildren for your parents. From my cultural perspective, that's a bit too much control and input from others; I don't tell you how to live your life, and you don't get to tell me how to live mine. To impose their ideals and goals on me is something that distances me from people, because if they feel the right to do that to me, then they are not aware of the boundaries I have around my freedom and need to experience a more clear message from me about what is appropriate.
I think Id get ageist remarks if I bobbed up with a kid now , obviously people make all sorts of differing judgments all the time , consciously or otherwise :) .
Often. Sometimes people project all their unhappiness on you. SOme have a dard time understanding life is perfectly fine and happy without kids. It doesn't mean I hate kids. It just wasn't for me. But people will always have a say on what is none of their business

Forget having kids and getting married, it's better to have a fun life without drama :)
Better question: why do you care?
Never
