Someone pointed out to me that i'm a hero... always strong and several other things that I'm sure they meant as a compliment... but even as I politely thanked them a part of me was rather sad.
Why sad? I thought about how nice it would be to HAVE a hero on my side rather than just always having to be the one to step up to a challenge. It would be nice to have some down time with a "partner in crime" who has my back would be so cool.
For now, though, constantly carrying on as if nothing was bothersome about it at all. Most days it's fine, but some days... š¤·š»āāļø

In my family, I am usually the one who recognizes a problem and takes action. I am president of two organizations so I am widely acknowledged as a leader. I don't know if anyone considers me to be a hero, but at least they think of me as a man of action.
I am usually the hero because I like to give and help othersā from the kindness of my heart , but unfortunately some people take advantage of that and expect more than they deserve. , so I now only give to people that I care about , that I know care about me and give back the same in return. When i constantly give without receiving , thatās usually my answer to walk the other way. I am over people taking me for granted especially girlsā
Always, but those days have passed meci guess. I couldn't save my sister. Im crippled up in need of knee replacement. Back in the day, 20 years ago i was.
Once a hero always a hero. You did save her from being alone when she needed her hero.
According to my wife I'm her hero, not because I'm like someone from a story book or comic, it's because I take care of her, and protect her.
Yes, that's something that I'll always argue every woman needs.
Agreed
I don't know if I'd be considered a "hero". What I will say is that I think I'm well put-together, if you will. I'll ask for help, prayers, or support if I need it.
iām a hero, but I also wanna turn to somebody. Thatās powerful in case I get hit hard. I need back up in life somebody to turn to
Iām usually the one helping everyone else but no one helps me out when I have problems
If I were physically stronger, I could be a hero more but I'm usually the one who needs one.
I would call myself more like an anti hero.
What exactly does that mean? That you are the heros nemesis? š
Lol. Why?
I am everyoneās hero
