How many people do you truly believe have heroic traits in the world?

Depending on your definition of heroic? 5% would be my guess at absolute most. Plenty of experiments have shown that many people just walk past someone in need even if asked for help or it's clear that it's needed. There is woman who were raped that had multiple people pass by that did nothing during because when faced with things like death and horror most people look away and save themselves. But then every so often you have a homeowner that runs into their burning house for their dog or the person who took the time to learn CPR who happened to be at the right place at the right time and made sure they had the education needed. You have people like Mad Jack Churchill and President Zelensky. Heros are real and they will do what's needed when they can but the are few and far between.
I guess it depends on how you define heroic. I think it's a lot more than most people would guess - like a majority of people. When things go really bad, people tend to stand up and do what needs to be done. You can see it during natural disasters.
You hear stories of bystanders watching shit go down without doing anything to help, but I don't think that's the norm, not by a long shot.
Not a lot a minority only, some weeks ago a Young teenage girl got killed in her class room the Guy who killed her gave her 57 stabbing wound nobody moved to help her or do anything not Even a teacher and after doing this the Guy went to another class room and stabbed two other people until the police went to arrest him …
When my mom Heard this she was extremely shocked nobody moved to help so I think not. A lot of people have heroic trait
I agree with you yet again. I think there are very few TRULY heroic people. The types of people that wouldn't even think about it or hesitate because it's second nature to them
Yes those are extremely rare some people help when it’s easy for them to do and do not ask too much of them / their time.
For example of you ask your neirghbor for men simple things they re going to do it but when need come and something big happen there s nobody there to help anymore.
People get afraid or are more selfish and refuse to help / prefer saving their own Life or don’t want to get involved.
Some heroic people exist but they’ re very rare
They were a story some years ago in France of a Guy that helped a woman against a groups of men harrassing her he went to help her without thinking but sadly he hit severly beaten and left with sévère brain damage for Life.
Nobody else in the bus helped him fight against the bully though he was alone
I heard that courage is a genetic trait
You're partially correct. We are all wired a certain way since birth. Our brains are meant for different things. The people you see that are easily courageous at early ages are usually predisposed to be that way, just as the shy ones at an early age are predisposed to be that way. However, that doesn't mean we can't change through effort.
It's mostly nature, but nurture affects it. If someone is born shy, through experience and facing their fears, they can eventually rewire their brains. It's harder for some than others though.
Ohh interesting

If you mean how many would go into a burning building to save someone or put their life in danger for the benefit of others then I reckon close to 30%.
You think 3 in 10 people would run into a burning building to save someone? That's... optimistic 😅
Worldwide? Toughy.
I’m going to guess about 1%.
