I think all parents want to see their children happily married, and having children of their own, but I've not been under any pressure, though I've not been able to find the right girl to marry.
Perhaps if they complain perhaps they're in a rush to become grandparents, especially if they're getting older, or perhaps they are gently encouraging their adult offsprings to venture out on their own path of life.
No, my parents never gave a shit if I did or didn't do or have anything.
They didn't want to be parents.
Nope. It's not like the 1950s. Parents are well aware that the economy and society are too messed up for many to get married and have kids.
Getting married makes buying a home easier, passing a home down generations makes the economy cheaper, as does starting a family run business.
The worst things anyone can do in a shit economy, is be alone, rent, and work for a large corporation.
I've seen at least 4 marriages fall apart due to money issues so I think you might want to check your sources on that.
Also, about 40-50% of marriages end in divorce within the first year. So is it really better to marry and go through that than to wait and find the right person even if it takes years?
No, they do not.
