As y'all may already know, 6 core consumer CPUs have been out since 2017 (FX Bulldozer doesn't count), and system requirements have risen over time. Before for a long time, 4 cores was enough to max anything out on PC, and then in the last say 5 years 4 cores became the minimum and 6 cores recommended. I've noticed in the last 1-2 years though that now it's 6 cores as minimum and 8 cores as recommended, but some new games like Borderlands 4 now lists 8 cores for both! Hell, I've been using 8 core CPUs for all my phones in the last near decade.

Clearly having a hexa core processor won't be viable for long, so obviously for a future PC I'm gonna skip that altogether. I currently have a quad core CPU as my gaming laptop is from 2019, and from previous post (s), I've indicated dying thermals, age of hardware, and OS overhead (24H2) has caused it to lose performance. Being the stubborn boi that I am, I'll just double down on my now potato until 2027 or 2028, even though I can literally build my own PC currently for about a grand. Due to the tariff wars, I'd rather save money and not waste it unless needed.

I know that octa core is gonna be good to have for the next few years, but since I like to multi-task and I'll be doing more than just gaming, I think 8 cores might not be enough. If I had the money to, of course I'd go for 16 cores or higher, although I don't atm and who knows if my laptop will suddenly die on me eh? So if that happens and I'm forced to "prematurely" transition to desktop, I'll have to choose either 8 or 12 cores. I've already set my sights on either the Ryzen 7 9700X or Ryzen 9 9900X as my top contendors. Won't consider Intel because Core 13th and 14th Gen have QC issues, and Core Ultra just sucks.

For me I like the Omnitrix more, specifically the Completed Omnitrix from Omniverse.

I love how the main Omnitrix part pops out when you select what alien you want, ready for you to slam down on it with your hand to transform, it's awesome.

Obviously the actual Omnitrix stuff is awesome too, Master Control, how it chooses whatever Alien that's needed to protect the wearer in dangerous situations and the Aliens are just fricking awesome, they seem like so much fun to use. 😁

5 stars. Especially the intriguing ending of The Travellers.

I've been seeing online that they have been talking about the exact same thing—is Vegas really starting to lose its shine, or is it just going through a temporary slump?

I ask because, you know, if you were to plan a trip out there, whether it's your first time or not, I'd want to know what the vibe is like these days. Like, is the nightlife still popping off, or has the party scene started to die down a bit? And I'm super curious to hear if the city still feels as vibrant and exciting as it used to, or if it's lost some of that signature Vegas energy.

From what I've been hearing, the pandemic hit that city pretty hard, with a lot of the big hotels and casinos struggling to stay afloat. And there's been all kinds of rumors floating around about Vegas losing its luster. Like, I heard some people say the party scene just isn't what it used to be.

But at the same time, Vegas has always felt like one of those places that's just too big to fail, you know? I mean, it's been an icon for so long; it's hard to imagine the city just losing its spark for good. That's why I'm really curious to get everyone's take on it. Like, if you've been to Vegas recently, what was your impression? Did it still feel like the Vegas we all know and love, or did it seem a little lackluster compared to the glory days?

Every time I eat Chinese food, I proceed to eat the fortune cookie afterwards. I have never been impressed by the taste of a fortune cookie on a single occasion, at a single restaurant. What a disappointing thing to be called a “cookie.” And the lame fortune stuffed inside of it makes even worse. I think fortune cookies should be discarded and no longer served.

I was born on a Saturday. No, I didn't look it up, at least not recently. This was a question posed in my Industrial Psychology class in college, I looked it up then, and I've remembered it ever since.

Interesting Trivia: Most people are born on a Tuesday, which is fairly consistent throughout the world.

So in this question assume you see a person you find incredibly hot but they have no idea how hot they are. does that make them more hot to you?
