Costs here are exploding and gas has only gone down a couple cents. No Inflation numbers. Over one million layoffs so far with Trump but no unemployment numbers.

The real inflation is 13% if you figured based on how they figured it in 1970's. They changed how inflation is figured to a small number of items.

Unemployment is around 20% because they count a person working 3 part-time jobs as 3 people working. They also don;t count people that give up finding a job.

So conclusion is Trump is lying like a dog about economy. Not to mention value of dollar has collapsed. Not to mention Gold over $4000 an ounce which indicates a collapsing economy.

The fact is that no "average American worker" is doing better today than the last 4 years, or the 4 before that. Up until the time Bush's policies crashed the market, treading water was attainable. During Obama's time, it got somewhat better. Trump's first term was great if you were a stock holder with at least 500K to a million or more in assets, but not for anyone else. Biden's term was up and down, having to deal with the residue of yet another Republican predecessor's fuck ups ( the oil deal people, the oil deal)

But overall, EVERYTHING has gone up since January 21, 2025 except the average price of gasoline. It's stayed steady at $3.19 on the average. Everything ELSE has skyrocketed, from food to insurance to utilities. People in Indiana faced double and triple energy costs due the hot summer, and the rates haven't gone down. 23 other states have raised rates as well by as much as 25%.

So when the idiot magas tell you "gas is the same", you can smile and say "good for you. Go sit in your car with the heater on all winter because you can't afford your utilities."

Consumer Price Index numbers are released monthly by the The U. S Bureau of Labor Statistic. This year the figure were released every month up through September's data on October 24, 2025. Needless to say there was a large government shutdown during the month of October and many workers were furloughed. As a result the figures for October which would have been released November 13, 2025 were not calculated due to man power shortages. The next report for November's data would be December 10, 2025. Workers will move on to the current month rather than lagging behind an additional month from now until eternity. It's pretty common sense if you're not mentally retarded. i'm going to assume you did the math right because some people don't know that the unemployment rate isn't a reflective percentage of what it really is. i'm about to call it a night so i won't be checking ; p if it was too high for trump when the numbers were real, that means it was really a lot worse than we know with the new numbers. i don't know where you got 20%, but it's definitely high!

a lot of people are working jobs they shouldn't, so that skews it a bit as well. it's crashing the wages with a growing unemployed workforce.

The October unemployment numbers were 232,000 and the September inflation numbers were 3.0%. Both of these are easily verified from several primary sources. And if the leftist news media is reporting them, you know they are not faked.

These numbers are way down from the senile and fraudulent Biden administration; inflation alone is 1/3 or what it was a year ago. No one complained about anything during those years, even though they were intentionally crashing the economy into the ground.
