tRump lied. tRump always lies. And he's dumber than a bag of rocks. But he's smarter than the MAGA morons who keep believing every lie he feeds them. tRump knows his lies don't matter. There was never a plan to tame inflation and make groceries affordable. The plan was always to implement Project 2025 to destroy the US government and implement a White fascist homeland. But that wasn't tRump's plan. That was all the Heritage Foundation, the Koch brothers, and tech billionaires.

The people behind Project 2025 don't give a rats ass if tRump's MAGA cult ends up unable to afford food, or healthcare, or housing, or education. In fact, that is the real end goal of Project 2025, to end the middle class and return the country to the era of the Robber Barons where a tiny wealthy minority own everything and 330 million people are economic slaves. That's what the MAGA cult just voted for. And they remain completely blind to what's happening to them.

It has only been less than 4 weeks. I have seen gas prices go down some so eventually that will spread to other products. The tax cuts that Trump is proposing still have to go through congress. The goal is to have them signed into law during the first 100 days. The energy sector was decimated when Biden was president. It was easy to shut down construction of the Keystone pipeline and cancel oil leases on government land. This has a ripple effect. It is expensive to pump oil out of the ground and investors were wary to sink money into an endeavor that might suddenly be shut down by Biden. This decimated the industry. It will take a while before drilling is resumed and the price per barrel will drop. The goal is to bring down energy costs and cut taxes and Trump is working on both of these things.
