It seems that more than ever, the commands of Jesus are seen as signs of weakness: loving your enemies, forgiving those who trespass against you, blessing those who curse you, doing good to those who hate you, and praying for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience are all signs of weakness in today's society.

Society praises politicians, athletes, and entertainers who lash out and insult those who they think disrespected them. Bragging is seen as a sign of strength. If someone wrongs you, you're supposed to lash out and shame them, not forgive them. Twitter feuds, political feuds, bragging etc are all accepted as normal today.

Is being a good Christian a sign of weakness/wussiness?

I got up off a table after eating at a eatery ages ago. I was looking down at the table and dusting myself off and taking rubbish away. I look up after a few seconds of having looked down and a woman was (staff) looking at me (who knows how long) and I looked at her with a blank/slight puzzle maybe - was she looking at me with attraction/interest or just plain looking like anyone reacts to movement in their line of vision? She was a distance away, back at the serving counter. Lol. This wasn't a pay at the door restaurant. Lol. Maybe she just looked out of boredom or "god that guy is ugly, ug-ly" lol. Her look like was like unblinking 😐😶 towards me, no smile, no frown, body angle towards me directly.

My fiancé wants to us to co-parent her nice, and sign her life away to be godmother to her friend’s kids. Which means I’m responsible for those kids if she takes them in, which I really don’t want.

I never planned on having kids. Neither did she, which is why we started dating in the first place. We both agreed that kids aren’t for either of us to a point where she even had an abortion.

Also, she keeps trying to talk me into having a vasectomy and I keep telling her “no”. I was supportive of the abortion because I don’t wanna put in the work/money into raising kids.

This morning we had the discussion about being the god mother to her friend’s children and her nice. To be honest I don't know if I wanna be with her if I have to raise another man’s children.

I asked her “why would you have an abortion and still adopt?”. Her response was “because I don’t have to birth them. My niece is my flesh and blood who’s apart of me, so you must treat her like your own child”.

She’s so anti having kids but wants us to be involved with everyone’s kids. It’s really fuckin annoying!!!

Would I be an assholes for walking away from her?
