Is it bigoted to believe that marriage is only between a man and a woman?

A "bigot", according to Merriam-Webster, is "a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices."

Does the belief that marriage is only between a man and a woman fit that definition? If so, how and why?
