If you want to grab your girlfriend, then grab her. You don't need her permission any more than she needs your permission. That is part of being in an adult relationship. If she is already doing the same to you then she really has no reason to be upset if you do the same in return.

I understand you were raised to respect women, but a big part of respecting women it trusting in their strength to speak up for themselves. Any sane woman is capable to let her man know if she doesn't like something without resorting to something overly dramatic like a right hook.

In any relationship both of you will occasionally cross a line without realizing it. This is were keeping a cool head, and practicing good communication comes in. There is no sense walking on eggshells worrying about nothing.

If she is your girlfriend, and she playfully smacks your rear end, then absolutely return the favor!! Don't know how long you've been together, but people usually interact with someone with what they're comfortable with, or how they'd like to be interacted with. It's how they show you what they like. As for how to work it in, my boyfriend will just pat my bottom when we're walking along in a discreet way. And sometimes, it's not just a pat, it's a squeeeeeeze haha And I love it, because it makes me feel connected to him, both playfully and sexually, even when we're just walking along.
