I don't think it matters. While its not something you can bond over, its definitely not some kind of deal-breaker! Besides, I don't know about you, but my parents like very different music. But they've come to appreciate each other's preferences.
It's not weird. You guys have different tastes when it comes to music, that's all.
It's funny when we have our car ride playlist going one minute it's Judas Priest then it ed Sheeran, then back to RATM
Lol look at the positive side, you aren't always listening to the same songs.
Very very true
No, it's not weird at all. My boyfriend pretty much only listens to dubstep stuff and I listen to a wide variety of things. I'll suggest things for him to listen to to widen his taste in music and expose him to things I play and/or sing.
It may matter in primary school, but not later.;) As long as you two have at least something in common.
I wouldn't expect people to listen to exactly the same music, but I'd think people who have something in common would have at least a little overlap in taste.
It doesn't matter. Everyone comes with his own like. U can choose what u like and so does she.
Nope. My boyfriend listens to trance.. I listen to hip hop / R&B.
No, in fact I have actually never had a boyfriend who listened to the same type of music as me. :O
Makes for fun car argI men's and make up dates and stuff like that
as long as he's not addicted to rap, then we're good =3
Why can't he be addicted to rap?
most rap songs nowadays sucks. there are good ones with actual content, but most are just about weeds, and hoes. so no.
No its not weird but I would like for my man to like the same music as me.
it really doesn't matter what he likes to listen to... me and my boyfriend like a lot of different things.
yes. if my boyfriend doesn't listen to whatever i tell him, were done.
lol come on now
It's not weird at all I listen to kpop and korean rock but my bf listens to pop and R&B
lol It's totally normal. I make him suffer through my music :p lol
I don't care what they listen to as long as they don't make fun of or trash the music I listen to.
It doesn't matter to me, so long as I'm not berated out teased for my taste in music, even jokingly.
I would prefer that we like the same music but it doesn't matter that much
No, it's pretty normal. Who knows, you might end up liking some of her music or vice versa.
Nope. Not weird at all. Maybe you can turn each other on to new stuff!
It's not wired, but I think it say a lot about people. I mean the mu
If only I'd be so lucky most girls aren't in to swing music, classic music, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bebop etc.
Not weird. Sharing songs with each other is fun though. My last boyfriend was a total metalhead and I'm more of a pop/lyrical fan. But we shared songs a lot, and got each other into different bands.
Two people in a relationship can have different tastes in music. It's not a big deal.
everyone has different types of tastes in music, just because you're a couple doesn't mean you have to share the same tastes in everything. and besides they say opposites attract
Me and my boyfriend like very different music too, it's completely normal and it can also make you appreciate music and genres that you haven't listened to before :)
No one would be together. Most guys I know like rock, most girls want nothing to do with it.
Actually I like rock, particularly old school rock. Which is kinda weird as a play cello. My partner says I have bi polar tastes in music, and everything in between. All styles of music has something to offer as it gives us a look into that time and place it was recorded. Think of your favourite song, and when it was made. Does it reflect the ideals or options of the people during that time period? is it connect to a political idea or event?
Aw thats different, everyone in Australia is really chill in general haha.
I've met one girl that can stand my music, generally all top 40 they listen to here. I don't really have a favourite one, more mood based.
It's not weird, my boyfriend loves metal and I prefer country lol
Who doesn't want a man with good taste and a giant record collection?
It doesn't matter! Just don't be closed off to her taste in music. Show her some of your favorite songs and let her show you some of her favorite songs. Maybe she will like your music more and you may surprise yourself and like her music too!
I LOVE metal, and Rock... and my BF hates it, hates it so much he twitches when I have it on lol. He listens to a lot of Rap and R&B which im not a huge fan of... but It's just personal taste. Doesn't matter at all.
I'd prefer someone who listens to metal/screamo/punk rock but I would be fine if they listened to pop so long as it makes them happy like my music does.
Pffft no, I don't care what the heck my boyfriend listens to.
no it's interesting to see the different tastes and share
No, why would that be weird? You are two different people who have different tastes and styles.
Opposites can attract my friend.
And honestly, if you care more about your music than the relationship, maybe dating your music is a better option.
no it shouldn't be a problem I mean you are your own person don't let a relationship change your music styles my parents are like that my dad is a metal head my mom is more into ballads
I don't care what my boyfriend listens to as long as it's not Robin Thickes Blurred Lines.
Nope not weird, not everyone likes the same type of music.
No as long as the both of u love each other very much
Ofcoure not. Partners should have other Similar Topics to stay in the relationship as well.
its hella normal, and can introduce both of you to new things
I love metal he doesn't not a big deal :D
Opposites attract, both a blessing and a curse
My boyfriend and I are the same way he loves metal and I hate it but that's doesn't bother us
no definitely not. Rememeber opposites attract!!
i prefer silence but i dont really care
maybe you could share music taste with each other
I don't see how that's weird
No, its completely normal actually :)
Not at all. Everyone has their own opinion! :)
Why would it be weird?
I think its normal and amazing.
No but it's nice to have that in common.
Me and my boyfriend does
I like metal. :3
Not weird at all..
It's very bad.
