Trending & News It's hard to say. That's the danger with text messages it does have the tone of voice, inflections, facial expressions, and body language that face to face communication has. Even if you know someone really well it can be easy to be unsure whether the other person is serious or just having fun.
I playfully tease women in person all the time and they love it, but when I send a teasing message to a woman on an online dating site I almost never get a responses back. I can only assume this is because they are unsure if I'm being playful or being a jerk, because I get responses a lot more often when I just say I and ask a simple question.
Best thing to do is to keep any interactions other face-to-face dates to an absolute minimum. It's fine to send a "hey how's your day text and reply back and forth once or twice, but use the phone for setting dates not having dates. It is a bit rude to for him just text back a "k", but if you're texting all the time you never have time alone to miss each other and it is inevitable that you will get bored and come off as rude to the other person.
If this is a one time thing I would just let it go. Make a date with him a few days to a week out, and don't contact him until you show up for the date, and if he really likes you he'll have missed you and be very excited to spend time with you.
I liked that I'm sorry im new on here lol
I hate it when people do that. If I'm not wort three more letters don't message me to begin with lol. I am with you young lady WTF!!
L any better?
Jokes aside, i agree with you too. If the person is important for you, you take your time to give the person a PROPER reply!
That the way it should be For peats sake. Even putting manners aside for a minutes , it's just a common courtesy to show a little respect to the person on the other end of the line , but if it's someone you into it only adds to the notion you would say ( if not full sentences ) at least full words. In a world where so many things get taken out of context or mis interpreted , why take the chance.
With texts u can never truly know how they r feeling or how they mean a text. But in my experiences "k" means the person is pissed the fuck off. They r mad and don't want to spell out the word. They have to respond but don't want to so "k" ends the convo in a quick way and kinda shows that they r so mad they don't want to put the effort in saying "okay" they just r done
Honestly the only person who ever does this to me is my mother and it pisses me off like... did I do something to make you mad? Are you holding a grudge against me? What's happening right now? Are you going to stop feeding me? Are you gonna refuse me money if I need help?
Really fucks me up when she just texts "K"
o_o
Would you rather if your parents reply by saying...
Fuck yeaaah gurl
@illusive_man yes.
That's some metal hardcore parents.

I have a friend does that to me all the time "k" like she's depressed or sad
cause i had to get offline to make supper so she says "k" to me i am like wow
take some Lithium or Seroquel .. jk jk jk No it doesn't make me mad I'm joking.
If we're having a conversation and I ask something and you respond with "k" it REALLY irritates me, I know what you mean. I don't know what to think, so I choose to let it slip most of the time.
With me it means I'm either being lazy or I'm texting very quickly cause I'm busy. I don't think I've ever spelled out okay in a text before, at most it's ok.
K means OK for short. :/
Unless you know it already and you're talking about something else I don't understand.
Its no biggie k?
Would you like a
Yes ma’am
instead?
A girl means we are done :/
A guy just means read it
99% of guys have it mean exactly what it says. I'm a bit more indirect, and so it means I'm upset, but I've never met another guy who does that.
I have to admit, I agree. I get 'k' all the time when getting messages from work. It is very annoying.
k
That it´s a fucking waste of time typing an o for you.

Either he's just messing with you for fun or you pissed him off.
It means the interest is not really there. He has no interest in texting you so he just replied k, sometimes kk to other people.
OMG I HATEE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THATTT!!!
I go with kk. It's just laziness. :)
That's when I am like "... k"
