Why does someone hide their last seen/login status? Is this a total coward's move?

Just want additional validation regarding this subject. I was in touch with this guy for a couple of weeks and we went on a date also. He suddenly disappeared, probably because I didn't have sex with him.

Anyway, we had some sort of connection outside that. I noticed he always checked my online status after I sent him a text or called. He may have not responded right away to me, but he always checked Whatsapp directly after I contacted.

Being anonymous or hiding shit about yourself online is smart. Dumbass people like you try to call people cowards for it, and claim they wouldn't do this or that if we all knew who they were or what they were up to. Learn to butt the fuck out and shut the fuck up. Fucking stalker.

Right. But, my point is that I never contacted him via that app and then he felt the need to go invisible. He was actually the one checking up on my login status. Confusing... I know!
