Do Asian guys get offended when an Asian girl admits to preferring white guys?

Question

So basically I have been quite open about wanting white guys in relationships and I am thinking that I have caused an offense, and I don't want to necessarily create hard feelings. Come on, EVERYbody knows that Asian girls like white guys!! lol

I also thought initially that Asian guys themSELVES don't find East Asian girls attractive, so when they hear of an Asian girl wanting to hook up with white guys, I thought they'd barely bat an eye. I DO the same thing on here: admitting to the fact that I prefer a white dude, and now I feel like the Asian guys were offended; I don't know, is it just all in my head or what?  Can any Asian guy attest to this? I mean if you were offended by me saying this I must remind you that this trend with the Asian girls is not a new thing actually.

But** that is not to say that I might not run into an attractive Asian guy that I might like. If I find an Asian guy that I DO find attractive, then I guess I don't mind. 

But these are my preferences as of now.

So what do you have to say on this?

Here's the truth, someone will ALWAYS shame/be offended by your choices. As long as you are not harming anyone who cares if you bang Asian, white, black or whoever. People always find a way to pick on something that people do/like or whatever.
Now to the whole Asian/White issue you got going.
Do I think its wrong to have a preference? No I don't, even I have one (yes and its for white guys like you and I'm actually dating one now)
However, I think that the reason why some Asian guys get offended when Asian girls state they have a preference is because some of them throw Asian guys under the bus. They place white guys at the top of this hierarchy and bash on Asian guys. I actually have seen this with Asian girls I know. If a girl prefers white guys and says nothing offensive about Asian guys/doesn't reject being around them/friends its fine. It become an issue when she starts to publicly shame Asian guys. (Like calling them names and insulting them)
So that's how I see it, of course I'm coming from an Asian female pov, so it will be different than a male's pov.

I'm Asian with a lot of Asian guy friends and have dated Asians (current one is half, though). Their responses to that statement ranges from:
- Don't care, don't know her, none of my business
- Creepy-white-dude culture and yellow fever
- Asian girls who only date white guys aren't usually as attractive as those who do anyway
- Great, take them off the market for me so I know who not to date

by the way not all Asian girls like white guys. I also have friends who only date fellow Asians.

I m an Asian and most of my Asian friends r dating Asian guys.
Asians might be curious about the cultural bias and staffs in western society at first, and since most parts of the world see tall and skinny as a standard of beauty, they might be attracted, but trust me its not about skin colour at all ( some Asians prefer the cleaner expression that white skin have so they might consider it to be beautiful.)

why do we care or find offensive, it's none of our business. But if something happens in your relationship which in their culture is casual but here you find it very offensive, then you will have to face and bear it. And you cannot ask or expect any help from any Asian guy or the some guy from your nation. It's totally different matter if he is being generous.

Depends on the persons, I think. Personally, I am totally not offended, because:
(1) This is her/their personal choices.
(2) I am into Asian women anyway, so why would I be offended or upset because someone is dating someone I have no interest in?
But yeah, I see a number of Asian men, not sure about the percentage, getting offended by this.

I think to some extend, Yes!!! Not because it is the Asian men's fault at all but because of how society will paint this idea that dating a white men is normal while dating an Asian man is weird like as if you made the biggest mistake in the world.

Let's say a white girl dates an Asian guy. What do other people have to say about that? "Why are you dating him?" "That is gross" "Wtf? why did you do that?" "You should break up with him. It is a mistake" "Dating him for money? Gold digger?" "Holy shit! Why are you with him? You need to find a better man or a man in your league!!"(This implies that Asian men are out of every woman's league unless the woman is really unattractive) and you can see all those lame comments on LisaPeachy's pages like her Instagram then you will see what is the problem.

Now, let's flip this around. White guy dating an Asian girl. What do you think people will think? "Awesome man! Good job!" "Holy shit. How did you end up with her? Congrats. You got a nice catch" "You got one hell of a girlfriend there." or maybe "All the girls belongs to white men because white men are gods"

Two very different responses where one is very very positiveand the other is very very negative almost like "Break up with the creep immediately!"

Offended? Eh, maybe. More like feeling down on themselves, like "Why aren't I good enough just because I'm (enter race)"
As a white guy such as myself when white girls prefer a race other than mine at first I'm like "What? Why not whitey over here?" But I don't get offended. I don't hate the race they prefer and I don't hate the ones who prefer another race. In the end, after all is said and done, I don't care, and I don't think Asian guys would care either.

Whatever floats your boat. However I have to disagree when you say most Asian guys like white girls over Asian girls. I find Asian girls if attractive to have better bodies, especially boobs and skin. But who am I to judge, I prefer latinos.

It is a known fact (which many Asians do not like to admit to) that many Asian women 9specially ones from China) have a "white-man fever" but you only hear from them women referring to the white men as having Yellow-Fever
