Do girls like guys who are good with kids?

I'm 16 and I life guard at my club. I'm really good with kids and they all love me, but does that mean anything at my age.

I'm a very maternal person and I like taking care of people, so when I see a guy who is good with it, it turns me to mush! I have a guy friend who is so protective of his younger cousin and does so many things for her that a brother/father would and he's just the sweetest thing! And even though he acts just like a typically annoyed big brother to his younger sisters, he's still protective of them too. Most girls your age don't think about it consciously because kids aren't a priority at your age, but you get brownie points. On a subconcious level, girls tend to say "Aww, that's so sweet" or "OMG, that is so cute" but it's something we notice because it's a trait that you look for in father/husbands. People have to remember that almost everything boils back to finding a partner and reproduction...although science makes it sound less fun. =(

Being good with kid shows a great deal of maturity. Whether it's a little sister or kids at your pool, it's a good thing. You may be no where near having kids, it shows that you're mature enough to deal with them and you'd make a good father (Though that's probably not the first thing a girl thinks of) :)

I think that it reflects the kind of person you are. If I see a guy I like teacher his little sister or brother how to swim or something, it makes him seem really sweet.

okayyy...heres the dealio. guys that are good with kids are awsome. but don't just appeal to that. you are still very young and wellllllllll kids shuldnt be importante right now. if you spend all ur time with the kids and a girl noitices, she might feel like she can't fit into ur schedule... show her ur sensitivity but don't go overboard(:

I think it's nice when guys are good with kids, but I'm more impressed by a guy who's good with animals. I'm more interested in having a dog than a child at this point in my life though.

While I'm no where near ready for kids, I still find it very sweet and attractive when a guys is good with kids. It shows that you have a nurturing side and many girls really value that.

Yes I have noticed that I am good with kids and I have stepped in to provide medical assistance to a little girl who had heat stroke so I can see why women would like men who take a child’s welfare seriously

Awww, yeah! I melt whenever I see a guy playing with kids. Even if I hate that particular guy, something about watching guys interact with little kids turns me on.
