Should my boyfriend pay for my ticket to a concert he invited me to?

He invited me to go to a concert he's all excited about and said he wanted me to come. He knows I'm not a huge fan of concerts but I said I'd go to spend time with him.
Then he said the tickets are $100 each and that we would pay for our own but he'd drive, pay for a hotel, gas, and food. I said "oh that's expensive" and he said "just save up or ask your parents for money" because he thinks they're rich. but I know they'll ask why he isn't paying.

he has 3 jobs but always complaining about bills saying he's broke. i have 1 job but my parents still supposed me. we've been together 4 months.

I think you should pay for the ticket because he is already paying for the hotel, the gas and the food - that costs more than $100 dollars - you are probably paying 20% of what it cost him to take you to the concert.

If you don't want to pay, then just tell him you would rather not go. He is already putting out a lot by covering the gas, food, and hotel.
Is it even of a band that you like, or just one that he likes?

no they're just ones he likes. if i don't go he'll probably invite someone else and he has a lot of female friends. im scared he'll go with one of them instead

If only he likes the band then he shouldn't expect you to pay.
However, your concern is valid because if he has female friends and they have stuff in common and start spending more time together without you around, they may develop feelings for each other eventually, even if that isn't his intentions.
Normally if people spend more time together and have common interests, that is how feelings develop.

considering he asked you to go , its sort of up to him to pay for the ticket , you could pay if you wanted to or if you had an interest in going. but sort of weird that he did it this way

He's not supposed to pay, but you're not supposed to go either. A) you dont like it and B) it's too expensive for you. Those are both good reasons.
