My boyfriend doesn't want to set me as his whatsapp status pic?

We are in an LDR relationship. The other day we were talking about the status on whatsapp and gave each other a pic to put as our status. My boyfriend said he didn't want to put one up of me because it would look like he was showing of ( I am pretty ). However he lives in a country that has a completely different culture than mine. Do you think it's bad that he doesn't want to show me off?

I think it's conceited and/or self-conscious that you would want him to make you his profile photo. It might even cause confusion (idk how whatsapp works). I think if you want him to 'show you off' you should have him add you in a relationship on Facebook or something. I don't understand why you need to boast your relationship to people who quite frankly might not care that much. I don't know. that's just my opinion. you do you
