What’s your favorite way to show affection?

I would like to be able to show it by being physically affectionate hugs cuddles etc, but it makes me feel vulnerable liker at their mercy- and I dont have the courage to overcome that yet.

so i usually do it by being open minded understanding listening and giving advice. and utility stuff like helping them move heavy things or do boring tasks. things i can do whilst keeping a stiff upper lip.

It all depends on why I would want to show affection, but generally for friends I always come and meet them (like if they're at work or school) and I try to bring something along to make their day easier like a drink or a snack.
If it's romantic affection, it would definitely be cuddling and playing with hair because it's intimate to a comfortable level and it feels good for her, which is what counts.
