Guys do you find it weird if you girlfriend still sleeps with a comfort item (childhood teddy bear or blanket)?

It is entirely fine.

These sort of behaviors are usually harmless habits that remains with someone due pleasant nostalgic flashbacks in one's mind carried by the past. It can be far or nearby past. Or it can be just a behavior that turned into a habit by recurrence. There is nothing particular about it.

As i always use to say; the concept of weird is weird itself. [Weird] basically doesn't exist. People label everything that they can not comprehend properly as [weird].

Additionally; i don't believe comfort items are weird. Because they are understandable if someone spends enough time to understand it. Comfort items are a symbol of peace and security in one's mind. The source of that comfort can come from anywhere as for every person the perspective can be different. But they are majorly a harmless habit as the matter of fact, they are pretty positive because they can reduce stress, anxiety and improve sleep. It can only become a problem if the person become severely depended on them.

We went to an estate sale once and there was a giant plush moose that she really wanted, but she insisted on haggling with the lady and the lady refused to budge so we ended up walking out without the moose. I came back after work the next day without her and bought it outright, and gave it to her when I got home. She's been sleeping with it ever since.

Sadly, we've broken up since then, but she asked to take the moose with her. Of course I had to let her, and I hope she's going to keep it for a long time <3

It's cute , I dated a girl that had a teddy bear her grandma gave her as a child and the teddy bear got damaged through the years and she had it all stitched up , it was the raggiest teddy bear I ever saw but she couldn't let it go , when I got in an argument with her I threatened to rip his arm off and she freaked out , I couldn't stop laughing
