I think it shows how we all tend to think there ARE “kinds of people.” What we don’t always see is how judgmental we can be towards those who we deem “not like us.” And what’s really clear in the responses here, is that we don’t all make the same distinctions between people... which is the source of an awful lot of discord between people.

What I've always heard and liked, though it sounds simplistic, is "There are two kinds of people; those who get it, and those who don't."

It's so true. Some people "get" life, and others never will no matter how many times you try to explain it to them. It's mostly a common sense thing, and not everyone is blessed with the gift of common sense. It unfortunately can't really be taught, either.
