Road trip and farting?

I am going on a road trip with my boyfriend and the problem is I never farted in front of him. What should I do if I need to fart in the car? Do I tell him or just hold it in the whole time? Have you girls ever been in this situation?

FIRSTLY, remember that farting is completely normal and natural, and it's normal to be self-conscious of the idea of doing that. If however, you have to fart, it would be respectful that you tell him. Other than that, I say this is better to go through this as friends than when dating because the chances of him not liking the smell can turn people off badly. Either way, if it's a problem, love you regardless.

Just fart and roll down the window. This is the technique I employed when I went on my first road trip with my boyfriend. I just ripped a huge fart, sighed, and rolled down the window. We both knew what happened but none of us acknowledged it because it’s natural to fart, especially for women.
