I think you basically trying to say that you are shy, and you compare yourself against those you consider "Sexy and confident" and feel opposite of that.
However none of that is the reason older guys have that preference. In fact a lot of older guys WANT a shy and "innocent" girl. What it really boils down to is "chemistry".
Some guys are themselves shy and a little socially reserved. Those types will most likely seek similiar girls. Other guys are sexually confident themselves and also seek like minded partners. The only tricky part is that subcociously all women are generally attracted to sexually confident males whether they are aware of it or not. Its just genetic programming.
So that is where you might find an issue, because you may be attracted to a type of guy who isn't attracted to a shy girl. Only two solutions to that: 1. keep looking and eventually you will find the exception. 2. become sexy and confident.
Women can get away with being shy much easier than men. Us guys have to act confident and strut our stuff. A shy girl is often considered adorable by guys.
Not complaining about the double standard, actually; as a matter of fact I enforce that idea myself lol. I like girls who a have a VULNERABLE side to them. Women who come off as 'tough' don't really attract me. It's not feminine imo.
Also, sexualized chicks make me a bit iffy... unless it's understated like you said. Innocent girls can be sexy too, so I think "innocent" is more opposed to "flirty", because they're very different vibes. And flirty girls tend to flirt with a lot of guys... which is a turn-off.

If it's innocent in the sense of optimistic, hopeful, and hasn't had sex with 60 guys then yes that's attractive. I love sweet girls. It's so hard to find good looking ones though.
If it's innocent in the sense of virgin, then no. I went through that once and I'm done with it.
Let's unpack your question a little. Over here, you put "sexy" and "confident". Over there, you put "shy", "quiet", "innocent" and "sweet". Why the separation? Is there no such thing as quiet confidence? Sexy innocence?
Which is a very long way of saying I don't quite understand the question.
Let's cut to the chase here: shyness is really just insecurity. And nobody, nobody benefits from associating with insecure people. So frankly, no, do not want.
Quiet is good though. Thoughtful is good. Sweet is good. Innocent not so much. Modesty and humility is preferable.
If a girl looks like she'd get along with nuns but also has some underlying lustiness, that's a strong combination.
i chose sweet and innocent cause beauty goes by time but the inside beauty will remain forever...i prefer her to be confident too...but I chose B, I also would like her to be a housewife and be very happy to have this role...only if she wants to! & that's why I was lucky to have a girl who's sexy, confident, sweet and innocent and a happy housewife...

Yes as I have found that perfect girl and see the beauty that shines from her. but she has a sexy devilish side as well when intimacy plays to her advantage.
