it's bittersweet. I'm 18 and yeah at times when I dress a certain way or around certain people I look somewhat like my age but any other time I can be mistaken for a 15 year old... once at my school a girl asked me if I was a freshman... I'm a senior. plus I'm short so it's like a twice as bad. I'm told I have chubby cheeks which makes me look younger I guess I just will never lose that baby face in my face. the bad part about it is sometimes if I want to wear certain clothes it doesn't look right cause of how young I look. I can't dress in "sexy" clothes cause it looks out of place. people describe me more as adorable rather than hot which I've gotten use too. you just have to embrace it. as far as guys go I haven't had any problems getting guys because of how young I look. a lot of the guys I've dated said the innocent look is more attractive to them. for the most part I just ignore the comments about how young I look. cause I'd rather look young for my age than old for my age.

i use to get that a lot even being 21 and asked for ID to prove I'm over 18 with my younger friends just being told to walk on through I didn't like it at first and felt that's maybe why guys my own age would not approch me because I looked a lot older but now being 28 I think my age has caught up with me but I'm never told I look older and no do miss people thinking I'm %yrs younger than I am.
i would allways say at least when you 40 you will look around your early 30s where your older looking friends look closer to 50 years old and some
I'm 24, and went to a baseball game last season. The promotion was for 15 and under (it was a kids day), and I was handed the promotion.
Alot of people don't think I'm 24, and most of them don't think I'm out of high school yet (I'm a senior in college). I've been told that when I'm 40 and don't look it, I'll enjoy it, so I just kind of laugh at it now. I've never looked my age, and being 5 foot nothing doesn't help the situation =)
Laugh it off. Someday, everyone will be jealous ;-)
Wow, definitely an interesting question! I've never heard someone say that they don't like looking young, but you are still so young, yet!
Your life will get more complex, and your body language and your conversation will change to match. This is one of the things you can do to project maturity. And, by maturity, I don't mean that you don't act like a 19 year-old, just that you could focus more on the qualities that display how old you really are.
If you want an immediate change, try getting clothes that flatter your appearance more. You may still be wearing those clothes from when you were younger, which helps to project your youthfulness. You can adjust your make-up and hair techniques, as well, to portray more maturity.
It just sounds like you're an innocent woman, and it's definitely not a turn-off for the younger guys, or, unfortunately, the creeps.
It's not simply HOW you look to others, it's how you WANT to look to others.
It's a good thing.
I'm 26 and I look 15. I've looked the same since 15. It's good for various reasons:
1. Because I can "date" or "score" with teenage girls and no one would THINK anything of it.
2. Because if men might wanna confront me in a fight, they usually ask for my age 1st and this helps diffuse tension (happened only once lol)
3. I get to laugh at my friends who are balding at 27 if they laugh at my stomach.
4. Because I look good-youthful and healthy, obviously I've got good genes =)
5. Young girls go for me because they think I'm one of them.
Bad for other reasons:
1. Keep getting asked for ID in clubs
2. Won't be taken seriously by men in bars
3. Keep getting surprised looks that I'm working and not still in school
4. Women my age think I'm a kid and won't take me seriously

Same issue here, people say I look like um 15 but sound like someone who is around 23.I like it sometimes but yeah it's also frustrating because my friends who are in their 20's call me baby.I jus don't think it's a big issue so jus be u.And some guys I 've met find it a turn on not turn off.
I thought it was bad a few days ago. I'm 18, I have never quite looked my age since freshman year.
i would have my own teachers not let me leave the classroom for senior release, thinking I was a junior. I went off on one teacher because that was the 3rd time in a row that day lol.
pple in my own family and others think my younger sister is older, mind you she's only 15.
Now I just live with it, its not bad at all.ooooooh no I don't think so! I'm 21 and people always say that I look younger! I stopped being frustrated about it when I realized that everyone was telling my dad that he looks like he's 45...he's almost 60! So I thought that it's better to look younger it'll help in a few years! Plus some people think it's cute lol
im the same. it sucks :(. if I participate or buy anything that's 18+, I get carded every time without fail. I have a mustache which I primarily keep because it helps me look older.. I know a lot of girls don't like mustaches but if I shave it off, it takes YEARS off my already young looking face lol... so I keep it lol
Depends on the situation. If you date an older guy it might look odd. I dated someone in their mid-20's that looked like a kid. She was cute but short (5'0") though I didn't care who stared.
I also look younger than I am if I shave off my facial hair.funny its the opposite with me...people expect so much from me. its like the other day I went to the mall and this 22 year old dude though I was 19 so he tried to hit on me...i was like I'm not in to that pedo sh*t...wait 1.3 more years...no I'm still 16...i look mature.
count your blessings sweetheart, this will be a HUGE plus in a few years.
Women age faster than men. When you hit 25 you will be VERY thankful to have a youthful appearance.
I'm 29 and most girls guess me to be 25 or younger. I haven't had many blessings in my life, but his is definitely one of the few. :)I'm 23, but most people think I'm much younger when I first meet them. For instance, I was at a restaurant, and they tried to give me the kids' (12 and under) menu. It was pretty funny. Also, I work with middle school and high school kids, and whenever I'm out with my kids no one can figure out where the "adult" is. :)
I doubt people who know you would get turned off by it but random guy's may not be able to tell
It's nothing bad just a way you look
Bad because paedophile's might mistake you for being younger thoughI got that all the time. I'm now just shy of 26 and I am so thankful that I look young! People usually think I'm 21ish. It may stink now, but you'll be thankful for it later vs. girls who look older than they are.
:LOL... its fine I guess maybe at times kinda annoying but still its fine... I'm 22 already but people think I'm 19 but then its fine that's why I put eyeliner or I dress something that people can treat me like a lady and not a kid anymore :)
Its annoying as hell, but not a bad thing. If you really want to look older do some hard core drugs. As that's not a good idea, you pretty much have to live with it. Yeah, everyone thinks I'm in high school or at the very oldest a freshman.
i don't think it's a bad thing. I understand your frustration though, apparently I don't really look 21 :p but when you do dress up and whatnot, you do look like your age, so I wouldn't be too concerned.
I guess it's a good thing, but I hate it too. I'll be 29 soon and everyone says I either look 16, 19, 21 or 25. One guy on here harassed me saying that he doesn't believe I'm 29. I don't know why he cares anyway.
I'm right there with ya. It stinks when people think you just graduated high school when you've been in college for over a year. Hopefully, it'll last when 60 hits.
It varies from person to person. Some people would consider it a turn off, while others might not care at all. It would be a plus for me, as I'm the same way. ^_^
I don't think it is a bad thing, and it would be awsome to look way younger when you get to be like 50...
My mom's 52 but she looks like she's in her early 40's. Trust me, it's a good thing :) Dress up when you want to look older, otherwise, don't worry about it.
only if you don't want people to envy you or be jealous lol
don't people have surgeries and stuff to look younger ? I think that's a good thing that you look young
