What are the pros of driving barefoot?

My girlfriend always removes her shoes in the car and drives barefoot or in pantyhose. She says it's easier to control the pedal and feel more comfy like this. As most of people in Europe, she has a manual and has no problem pushing the clutch with barefeet. I would never do that because it would really hurt my feet but her feet has no injury.
If you do the same, what are your reasons?

Driving barefoot is ALWAYS a bad idea, who told you to take driving advice from women?
Maybe under NORMAL circumstances she does not mind clutching etc. with bare feet, but in an emergency (especially power assisted brake failure) you are going to have to STAND on the pedal, so you don't want to be barefoot as you cannot exert the same pressure.
Furthermore, in an accident you want extra protection for your feet which shoes provide.

There no pros imho, less control and if you need to brake in an emergency, using two phase system, it's going to hurt and result in lower pressure on the pedal,,,
In UK you can get prosecuted for wearing heels or no shoes at all if it's considered you are unable to properly control the vehicle,,,

When i am on long drives I like to take them off cause it's more comfy. Or if my shoes are too heavy and I can't feel the pedal haha

Yes I think some girls shoes are bad for driving. Do you find a difference between socked and barefooted driving? Because my girlfriend really prefers being totally barefoot than with pantyhose (she never wears socks) but I don't understand the difference

I drive barefoot because I go barefoot most of the time. I enjoy it, & I think I have better control of the car.

FYI, in the US 🇺🇸 there are no laws requiring shoes while driving. Driving barefoot is 100% legal.

braking force between shoes and none shoes is quite large.

for that reason alone, they need shoes.

No such thing as very sensitive , brakes operate fairly much the same.

Wet feet and lack of effective pressure power makes it dangerous

That is actually illegal here, its kind of funny... cause you can have the crappiest flip flops on that might as well be like barefoot and that is okay. I don't even know the logic behind it.
