How do I get my girlfriend's parents to like me?

So I recently moved out of my home to the state of my online girlfriend. We met in person five years ago, and she visited twice. Her mother offered for me to stay at her home until I find my own place but now regrets it- though she told her daughter, my girlfriend this, and not me. Our time together is heavily restricted, and I'm not allowed to take her on any dates even though we're both adults. I need to earn their trust, and they.. need to accept that their daughter is her own person with a life they can't plan out for her. I can't do anything about the second part, though. They are still helping me, even if it's out of obligation so I owe them. My girlfriend is saying she doesn't care about their opinion. She expresses a desire to run away, 'like she does with everything else,' but I know it will hurt her more in the long run if she just moved in with me. I don't want to hurt her relationship with her family. So, sorry for all the long stuff here.. any advice?

You better be helping around the house.
Help maintain the home, mom do the dishes? Offer to help.
Dad like to mow the lawn and do yard work? You better be out there trying to help.
They have family dinners? Sit your ass down and talk to 'em.
They don't do family dinners? Propose the idea, or better yet, cook a meal for the family.
The point is, spend time with them quality time. They likely have much to teach you, so be there to learn.

Rapport is earned through consistent quality behavior. Its nornal they don't trust you. But being the best you that you can possibly be is the best route to winning them over. You got this!

Thanks, I've been helping as much as they allow me to with chores and groceries. I'm trying to talk with them more naturally, but it's difficult. I appreciate the advice, and I'll work harder on improving the situation with them.

The way to get them to change their mind, is to be the kind of boyfriend to their daughter, than is responsible, loving, honest, caring, humble, willing to keep a good job. Running away is not a good answer. The best answer is to prove yourself.

For the Mother: learn what are her hobbies, food, or music. You can buy a gift that's relatively what she would like.

For the Dad: the same--learn about his hobbies (sports, cars, etc.) and take him out on a game or convention.

Psychology states that if they see you and something they like, they will subconsciously like you as well.
