There’s a story behind this. I always go to dollar general because it’s the closest to me. We walked in Walmart earlier today and the girl had shorts very similar to these. I couldn’t find the exact pair so I got these instead. The elderly lady kindly asked her to come in the store dressed more respectfully. I asked my husband how would he feel if I was to walk in the store wearing this? He knew I wouldn’t but she caught Walmart attention. I see people wearing these kind of shorts all the time.

I think it gets disrespectful when you join a comunity of elders or some formal event, yes, because it means that you don't care about people.
But in general it should't be a big deal, my man actually loves when i wear booty shorts, but I have selfcontrol as in I don't wear them when we visit his family or when we go to events and all... and to be honest i wouldn't feel comfy going for grocery shopping with them because you have to bend down a lot picking up products and stuff...

See as much as I don't care what other people wear, also because I mind my own bussines, I care about what I wear, and that's what matters in general. Everyone should know how to wear things and when. I love booty shorts, but I think they have their place and time, beaches, Gym, around the house... but Hey they can do whatever they want lol

I wanted to see other people opinions because someone that’s actually 30 walked into Walmart like this. I had to ask her was she wearing underwear or shorts. So I asked my husband what would he think if I walked into dollar general down the street with this on. He said it would be disrespectful. I wear booty shorts in the shorts when it’s just us by ourselves. I wanted to see how would others see these shorts. I couldn’t find the exact shorts she had on so I posted some similar.
