I would say no there isn’t necessarily any good reason to fall back on getting high to quell issues in your life. That type of behavior leads to addiction. I do it for fun or socially but I doubt I’d ever use it to distract me from a situation in my life.

It makes tedious moments interesting. So if you know a night is going to be both tedious and without expectations, getting high makes it more enjoyable.
