Who does a guy value or love more?

If a guy is in a long-term relationship and has a long-term side chick but lies to his girlfriend about cheating and is honest with the side chick about being in a relationship, does this mean he loves his girlfriend and values her feelings?

He doesn't "value" or "love" either. Or there'd be just one of you.

That's a good question, though I can't imagine that said guy would love or value either of them that highly.

I was prompted to ask because I have a friend who recently found out her spouse cheated on her. She was trying to make sense of his actions and during our conversation we stumbled upon a similar question or train of thought. Thanks for your reply.
