That happens often when your printer that has separate color cartridges runs out of the red color and the red is then substituted by a mixture of other colors giving this pale gray/grey tone.

You should tell your lady to change the printer cartridges or check if the nozzles are plugged. Unclogging the nozzles can help if you know that there is still color in the respective cartridge.

Other than that, it could of course also mean that the love is slowly fading away and that you should perhaps have a serious conversation with the lady. Don't let the flame die on you or you will find yourself alone in no time.
