Worried about girlfriends pregnancy test tonight?

She's been gaining weight the last few months but now I got a text that she wants to do a pregnancy test tonight... And I'm incredibly nervous even though I probably shouldn't be.

Key details:
She's gained about 15 lbs since I met her a year ago, more weight being gained since she had to move back home (she' is very unhappy there, and pretty much sits around all day).

She had a period about 2 weeks ago, and they have all been regular... She has no other symptoms of being pregnant (sore breasts, cravings, metallic taste, heck we even shared a bottle of wine last night )
Her parents keep asking if she's pregnant and put it in her head that weight gain is because of it.

Any advice for a man who is panicking and can't think straight anymore?

How are you 25-29 and think a year of weight gain is related to pregnancy when she had a period 2 weeks ago?


She’s not pregnant. But I guess she’s your first girlfriend since you’re unaware that people let themselves go and stop putting on a show when the dating game is over?

Maybe more naive to her letting herself go...
My last ex used to constantly give me "I might be pregnant scares", especially when we weren't getting along...
I guess I need to work on that

Let her know a test must be taken one week after a missed period to be accurate.

A period, or what seemed to be one, while pregnant is quite rare. Add that to her having regular, as is none missed, and I'd say her odds of being pregnant are pretty much zero.

Get the test over with... and then most likely realize your woman is in the early stages of becoming a land whale.
