it is our long standing tradition of trying to fix things ourselves before we make it a bit worse, and have to call a guy... but on 90% of the times we got it just right... lol

Yes they are. Entire dining set and they are sitting in my kitchen up top on display. Grandma passed away so they are a treasure. They were originally her wedding gift.

A Chinese vase that belonged to my maternal great grandmother that is at least 100 years old.
A Third Reich DLV flier dagger that my dad "liberated" during the war. It's a lot like this. The metal on the scabbard and dagger are silver (except for the blade), and the leather on the scabbard and grip are blue. Okay, the photo won't upload.

I have an old radio that belonged to my grandparents. It was in my family's vacation house. i took it home and restored it a couple of years ago. It works but I think the tuning element is corroded so it is a little staticky. It is almost a hundred years old.

It used to pick up police calls.

My dog figurines collection. Have some that are valuable and a couple that are signed. My daughter most likely will keep a few but sell the rest. She has told me she love me, but also said dad “I’m not going to keep your whole collection”. I only have about 600 dogs in my collection.
