I guess it's an introvert/extrovert question. I'm definitely an extrovert and I love meeting new people! But it's not realistic to be super close with every single person you meet, so I'm okay just meeting someone once or twice and enjoying that brief time we spend together :) How do you feel about it?
Yap Iam an extrovert person too and I like to talk to new people. Yes you can't be close with anyone you meet and I get it, It's good when both parties show interest of wanting to talk, if not like that better stop talking to them and focus on you!! but sometimes it doesn't feel good being talking to someone then just from no where they start ghosting you ☠️
I don't really go out of my way. It usually happens organically. I feel if it's meant to be it will last a long time. If not, I am thankful for time we had together, just to have a laugh, or sing a song.

Im about to do that this upcoming week, just to see what's under the rocks. If I someone I find someone, if I don't, I don't. The event was free it didn't cost me anything. I don't have high expectations.
I used to. As I've got older I find it can be draining sometimes
I wouldn't say I go out of my way to meet people. I do strike up conversations with people when I'm standing in line at stores or other places.
I usually meet people by chance or out of necessity. I don't like meeting people too much. Being alone is much better for me

I'm right there with yA girl. That's why I force myself to talk to new people. I'd say about 70/30 success rate.
