If the relationship becomes so toxic or they were to start being abusive, you're able to think logically with your head than all this ''I'll stay out of love, we can still work it out'' nonsense. It's easier to get out of misery when you don't love them.

I love them… because my effort and intentions would be genuine. but if it was clear that they’re uninterested then I’d just try to get over it

1. I can learn to love my partner
2. Since she loves me, it's less likely that she will want to break up

Neither. A good relationship is not 100–0, 0–100, 50–50, or anything in between. A strong relationship is 100–100: each one loves the other.
