My girlfriend moved into my apartment from NJ to NY. We also have a child together. Ever since my girlfriend moved to NY she said her best friend stop texting her or making an excuse to not hangout. She get mad that her friends hangout with other people. So she feels that it my fault that her best friend stop talking to her. I am like how it is my fault just doesn't make sense. She told me she missed her best friend so much and wanted me to give up my apartment to move closer where her best friends live. I told her your best friend is jealous but she doesn't think so. Her best friend is a single mother have 3 baby daddy. Have anyone have a similar situation?

Instead of dismiss her feelings and act like it's not a big deal, try to address the fact she has made a huge move and life change for you and she is dealing with implications she didn't see coming and it's hurting her. Where is your empathy for god's sake? She's blaming you out of anger and frustration so show her you understand and validate her feelings and you appreciate that she has made such a big change for you and you're sorry her friends have stopped seeing her and be supportive. She'll stop blaming you if she feelings you care enough to try to understand and be supportive. It's not about you being defensive, it's about being a supportive partner.
