Is this inappropriate to do if the guy has a girlfriend or pretty normal behavior?

It only bothers me if it’s said directly to me because there’s an agenda behind saying it to me and it’s to make me jealous if you love me, what’s the need to try to make me jealous? You are allowed to think other people are hot, but some things are just better left unsaid.

I get that we're both going to notice that other people are attractive. Consequently, a few quick glances of admiration here and there aren't a big deal (I do the same thing with other guys). However, if he verbally says it (especially directly to her) or is just unreasonably gawking at her (because there is a line) then that's where there's a problem.

But just noticing she's attractive and checking her out quickly is fine.
