Not sure if this is a quirk or not, but I love her for it all the same.

To start, I work - as does my girlfriend - in politics and have a habit, when we are together, of pontificating on an issue when it really grabs my interest. Also, when our children misbehave, I will not just stop with a spanking or such, but will go on and on about how they should behave.

Suffice to say, I don't mean to be so preachy, I just can be that way.

Yet my girlfriend, instead of screaming at me or arguing will just roll her eyes, smile and give me a peck on the cheek. I just melt every time - besides feeling vaguely absurd. Still, it is an endearing little habit and I love her with all my heart. I am the luckiest guy alive!!

Not with her anymore, but I think one quirk I constantly thought was cute was when there was ever a stressful situation, a funny situation, or a sad situation, she would close her eyes and giggle. Wether a nervous giggle, a hearty laugh, etc. There was something cute about it. I think it emphasized a certain shyness that I found cute? I dunno 😅

Not sure this is a quirk, but I really like it: my wife can pick up any crying baby and it will immediately stop crying. And/or fall asleep.

She likes to crochet while watching TV. I enjoy that too.

I guess, really, though, she thinks differently than me. Not bad, but it seems odd. I've come to like and value and trust that different thinking.
