Back when I was more immature, I'd probably have been, but I just realized there are WORSE things in life than that. I mean, I feel that an ex is an ex for a reason. If they're happy with the other person and they made the decision to break up with me, it must have been for a reason (sometimes not a good one but a reason nonetheless). Overall, I just learned that you cannot really control people. This includes romantic partners (or ex ones for that matter). If they are truly happy with the other person, they have that right. Maybe they were more compatible. They can smoke weed, meth, fentanyl, etc together or something lol.

And, in a strange way, I WOULD be happy, because if there was ANY care there whatsoever, this was no time to be selfish really, just I guess, be happy that they found their happily ever after, even though that isn't realistic in the first place lol.

The only time I’ve ever felt that way was because I was single, they hurt me and it felt unfair for them to get to move on and be happy after that.

I have been with my girlfriend for a little over 9 years and very happy. With that said to answer the question I say no. I don't care if they are single, in a relationship, engaged married, divorced or widowed. The last time I talked to my most recent ex was when they tried to get back with me which was a month before I got with my girlfriend.

I've been to their weddings and all... nowadays I don't see them as my exes, I see them just the same as all of my other best friends

Clearly no because my last ex and I mutually agreed to break up and a year and some months later, he got married. Not only did I meet her, we became friends and I always said to both that I was happy for them. She did after a year divorce him for the same reasons he and I broke up, but I never discussed our relationship or it's issues with her because that wasn't her or my business.
