Would you trust your partner if all of a sudden they started working longer hours knowing they hate work to begin with?

You always hear most affairs occur in a workplace , so all of a sudden your partner that barely ever wanted to work all of a sudden has been working longer hours , telling you they have a lot of catching up to do , when you try to text or call them you get no response for awhile , Would you assume your partner is cheating on you? Or would you trust them

Generally speaking no other than a limited amount of exceptions, anything out of character or all of a sudden seems strange. It has happened to be in previous jobs where I am asked to stay an extra 4 hours which I would call to notify my spouse, even worse during my trucking career often working 14 hour days.

LOL they say nurses are on the list of professions that have the most affairs I don’t truly believe that because I have family that our nurses that were super loyal To their spouses , unless they were great liars who knows lol

It is a soap opera in the medical field. Lots of looking and walking like downtown rush hour…. Everyone knows and knows nothing simultaneously

I would probably start watching more closely. Both of us are teachers so I know the schedule, workload, and that there’s no such thing as overtime, weekend hours, or extra hours that stretch well into the evenings.

I don’t jump to conclusions, but I would tell them to at least tell me because I’ll start getting worried something bad has happened to them.
