I try to save money but have fun at the same time. I save about $3500 a month, live off $1500 the rest of the month. No I don’t have a house payment, that’s taken care of. Just a car, phone bill and electricity. I purchase gold and silver, or purchases shares of apple as well. I try to budget it, but I think a majority of what I spend is on eating out w my girl. If I really want something I work OT. I always try to get my “wants” from money earned from OT at almost $40 an hour for OT. I try never to take out of my regular paychecks.

Trying to Google the correct word and all I get is "cheap".

I do not spend money I don't need to, I used to thrift - I don't do that often anymore since I don't need to, I'll go out of my way to walk to a store, with good offers - items on sale. I'm reluctant to buy myself new things but I'm known to buying people I know small things that make me think of them.

I spend money on things that I believe need to be good quality bc they will last. I grew up in a family where my grandparents and parents said you only need so much and then your just showing off. So I buy things that make I need, but don't overspend on unnecessary items. Don't like collectibles other than some native art which some of my friends have done, so I support them. But I live a minimal lifestyle and make a lot of my own things, like furniture etc.
