How can you separate Weird Random people Dms from people who could be potential relationships? I need advice cuz I don't know

If someone randomly messages me and I know them then respond. If someone randomly messages me and provides a reason therein then I make an assessment and choose whether to respond or not. If i get some random and nonsensical message, I delete immediately unless people identify intent for contact. Spam etc...
