Would you give someone your Instagram password if you loved them and they asked?

Caught my boyfriend being sneaky about going out. I already have trust issues from the past. I told him for me to feel better I want his ig password and he won’t give it to me. 😑 I do have his phone password but sometimes I feel like he tries to hide it.

I said then I don’t want to be with him because he’s not willing to do anything and everything to keep me.. if he loved me and had nothing to hide he would just give me the password right?

Well maybe you should stay single because you clearly are not mentally ready to be in a relationship and you clearly have zero trust. Your trust issues are not his problem. Go get counselling

He does not have to give you his passwords to anything. You are not his wife. Either accept it or stay single. Also can you stop asking this question because everyone told you on your other post the same thing that you were not entitled to his password and that he doesn't have to give it to you

Hell no. I will take my book of passwords to my mf grave. Bury me with them. I want no other worldly possessions buried with me except for my book and thats it. No one needs to find my ungodly amount of multi password locked Tentacle Alien Porn... So it's obvious it's a no for my Instagram password even if I trust them to save my life.

Nope, that is my personal property. If my SO is really interested in what's on my IG (or any other account) I  might  login to the account and let her peruse it, but I would not give her my password.

bro i don't even remember my instagram password. if he just wants to grab my phone and look at my instagram messages, then fine. but i would have to ask what suddenly changed in him because only him and my 2 friends send me memes on there lol he won't find anything.

i feel like that's an invasion of privacy and he doesn't need to give you his password. and then you basically kind of blackmailed him by saying if you loved me you would. i understand your concern tho. but you need different proof of cheating because anyone can deny giving passwords even if they aren't doing shady stuff. it's just too personal.

I consider social media moronic for the most part. I wouldn't have even committed to someone who was super into it and posted tons of pictures of themselves all the time. Our core life values and boundaries would have been different.

No. I don't really care if they have my passwords and have nothing to hide but it'd be a huge red flag that their insecurities drove their decision making. This whole if you loved me you'd be happy to let me invade your privacy and snoop around is bullshit. It's nothing but the person projecting their insecurities onto others. If you can't trust then you shouldn't be in a relationship where trust is HUGE.
