+1 ybecause children aren't raised by families anymore. families even are not as common. less long term relationships, less morals. morality comes out when people are in committed relationships but people see relationships as disposable nowadays so no morals. then we have certain groups make things worse trying to destroy what is for some made up reality. or groups that are minimizing the contributions of an entire group of people. false accusations of various sorts including but not limited to rape, racism, sexism.

+1 yMorals are not universal. As the world continues to become smaller due to technology we are seeing where people who have different morals are interacting more and more. So because of these diverse backgrounds what is heartless for some isn’t heartless for others. Especially the online culture can be toxic in this regard.

It's the way that kids are being brought up nowadays it's been happening for a long time.
World is definitely changing and just because people are that way you have to remember who you are because that's what counts always remember who you are00 Reply
+1 yIt's the disassociation made possible by all the gadgets and hiding behind screens. Lack of ACCOUNTABILITY. When you can say things no matter how messed up it is, and face no repercussions from it then what's going to stop it from being nurtured in a manner of speaking.
Whereas it used to be if you pulled something like it before the tech advancements it was likely you would either get a punch or something worse.
There is a comment about families and the lack of, along with relationships being it. It might be a small faction. However, that has been a thing for some time, and it was never as bad since ACCOUNTABILITY has all but disappeared. Also, since family has been brought up... Taking away parents ability to discipline their children. I grew up in a home in which if you were out of line or didn't do as asked you picked your switch, got the belt or spanked straight up. While a lot of people don't agree with it. Granted, I disliked it at the time. However, looking back I am thankful as I believe I turned out to be a good person and that it also helped me to understand the term "fuck around and find out" which gives the "This would be the results of my actions" train of thinking.
*note the all caps for accountability is to stress what it is that is the answer to the question. Until it is put back upon the person that is performing said acts, it won't stop and will only continue to fester, as we as a society in all our advancements have stagnated in our growth as a race. I won't go more into it here, but if anyone would like to hear the thoughts of, feel free to message me. Given enough response I will gladly make an opinion upon it, or post regardless to open it up as I am always open to hear others thoughts.00 Reply- 633 opinions shared on Relationships topic.
+1 yIt’s because of a departure from judeo- Christian morals and the result of a godless society. The further we push God out of our society the worse things will get. Christianity had a preserving influence on society. The solution is repentance and returning to God.
I also believe we are at the end of times. Scripture said what it would be like.
“But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5 NASB2020
That pretty much describes how society is now.
“And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.”
Matthew 24:6-8 NASB2020
The above is Jesus saying what some of the signs the end is approaching will be. We see all those occurring now.
Now would be the time for repentance. To confess our sins to Jesus and ask forgiveness of him for our sins. To ask him to save us from Hell and our sins. To ask him to be our savior and obey him as lord and surrender our will to his. The end is coming. In the future there will be great wrath and tribulation as God pours out his anger on an unbelieving and disobedient world.00 Reply
+1 yI don't know I noticed in the real world people are much nicer now to me than before..
As for when I was younger I used to run into a lot of mean rude people.. Perhaps it is because my demeanor changed so I seem friendlier, but people are usually pleasant.
As for online, that is a different ball game all together and I don't take it personally because they are just a random (probably uglier than me since they have no picture) loser talking shit, so why would I care what they got to say.. plus even I am rude to people I find stupid online.. so.. that is the internet lol00 Reply
+1 yI wish I could say I know what makes people rude and heartless. Obviously some of it is their upbringing but that can't be the whole story. I know plenty of people who had crappy childhoods and became wonderful people and others who had great childhoods but are some of the rudest people I've met.

I think I might have killed someone on here who reflexively disagrees with everything I say by telling them that breathing is essential for life. I wouldn't put it past them to have suffocated themselves just to "own" me.

Open your eyes, life’s not a fair place.
Don’t take their words close to your heart.
Try to find acceptance within yourself, try to accept yourself the way you are and then what others think will not make or break your day.

+1 yWe are encouraged to be selfish and put ourselves first.. Basically egging up tue natural human selfish tendencies.. People are becoming a social, sort of nihilistic, and too afraid of people, which leads to an apathetic view of humanity..

But I'm sure not all people are like that. Most people I meet on my way are nice and polite.00 Reply
