We have similar wants and needs. Society and culture just change how we go about it.

I do. The main difference is that women bear children, and have different practical concerns than men do. Men have a much longer reproductive life than women. A woman who wants to have children can't wait ten years for some man to make up his mind.

It depends in what context. Men and women essentially want the same things. We just approach those things from two completely different angles. Men and women do NOT operate from the same playback at all.

Primarily biological. Possibly somewhat societal as regardless of the woke culture there is still definite gender roles. And probably none if any political.
There's an old saying women use sex to get love and men use love to get sex. There's a definite nugget of truth in this. That's not to say women don't want sex and men don't want love. But women crave love, and guys get used to making due without love. And sex is one of the parameters guys use to gauge their total worth. So you could say sex is determinant for a guy of whether they are loved. Because quality women only have sex with men they love.
At then of of the day men and women both want relationships, they both want love, but on thier terms. And how both genders approach that is vastly different. Guys generally gauge a woman's love by whether and how much she'll sleep with him. Women generally gauge a man's love by how attention his shows her not pertaining to sex. Granted these are all generalizations. But this is a BROAD question.
