If you snoop around, you’ll find many of the great thinkers have said as much, if only with different words. “Perception is everything.” “It’s the thought that counts.” “Attitude is everything.” “Problems are just opportunities in disguise.”
Pretty much every quotable thing Vince Lombardi said was about attitude, or “character”. I don’t really follow football, but that man was a working class genius. If he said it, it’s probably correct. Ell oh ell!

Yes, attitude -- or character -- makes all the difference in the quality of a person's life. To borrow from Shakespeare, my word is my bond... While I tend to come off as being super confident, anyone who knows me and bother to look further sees that my focus is on advocacy, which requires that sort of bravado... and they know I don't promise things easily... so when I do, they trust my word, which is all I can ask for at work and in life.
