Why worry about what someone else is thinking? You cannot control what others think or do. You can ONLY control yourself.

If you think they are thinking this about you, it tells me YOU feel insecure. They probably see or notice this vulnerability in you and exploit it. Again, you can’t control what they do.

So fix the core of the problem- the things YOU can control- and the other “problem” will go away.

They can actually be better than you. But it is very important to consider in what respect we are talking about it.

E. g. I'm obviously a better pilot than you, because I have logged several thousands of flight hours already, whereas the possibility of you being one is quite low.

I might not be a better person then you, however.
